Ellen joined Lipman Hearne with nearly 10 years of nonprofit experience and a passion for communicating the work of mission-driven organizations to their audiences. She became excited about connecting people with ideas through her previous work teaching art to middle-school students. Since then, she has worked on fundraising, program development, and administration for a variety of cultural organizations, all while balancing the organization’s mission and the audience’s needs.
Ellen holds a BA in Art Semiotics from Brown University and an MA in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. A Colorado native, Ellen spends her free time biking and hiking, and she is slowly visiting all 61 national parks.
